Listed Jean-Michel Basquiat (American 1960--1988) Original Mixed Media Drawing.  Marker and Paint.  A mixed-media artwork featuring a crocodile and graffiti by famed Neo-Expressionist/Graffiti artist Basquiat, who began his career as a grafitti artist on the streets of New York.  He made a living selling small postcards with the moniker SAMO (same old sh.....) and was quickly lionized by the art world.  Many of his themes include skulls, athletes, and exotica related to his Haitian heritage.  He died tragically in 1988. This marker and paint drawing measures 13" high x 16" long.  Sight measures 9 1/2" across and 7 5/8" high.  No apparent damage.  Not examined out of the frame.
