Leo Manso was active and lived in New York. Leo Manso is known for abstract-non ob imagery painting and collage.
Leo Manso was one of the most important and influential collage artists and teachers of his generation. His work was widely exhibited and collected throughout his distinguished career. Today, his work is in the permanent collections of numerous public and private institutions, including: The Museum of Modern Art, The Whitney Museum of American Art, The Hirshhorn Museum, The Corcoran Gallery of Art, The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and The National Academy of Design, among others.
